It's been nearly a year since my last article on the baby bonds issued by the Tennessee Valley Authority ((TVA)). These two different issues, one due in 2028 ( TVC ) and the other due in 2029 ( TVE ), are not closely followed by many investors. They each have around 300 followers on Seeking Alpha and usually trade at low volumes on the order of 10,000 shares per day, except for more activity at quarter-end. In the past, this lack of visibility has produced buying opportunities when these bonds traded at an attractive spread compared to Treasuries, despite the fact they are US government agency securities with a similar credit rating....
