In this paper, I would like to analyze two major funds whose strategy focuses on investing in utility and infrastructure securities. These funds are Reaves Utility Income Trust ( UTG ) and Cohen & Steers Infrastructure Fund (UTF). These assets' investment potential is tied to the Fed's likely continued rate cuts. Because of that, leveraged funds like UTG and UTF will get an extra boost compared to other funds investing in utilities and infrastructure. To me, the two funds represent a classic battle between the US utilities sector and global infrastructure. Choosing between the two assets, I would go with UTG. UTG's main difference is its focus on the US market, whereas UTF focuses on global infrastructure....
