I’ll be frank, when I decided to cover Ooma, Inc. ( OOMA ) in December, a small-cap cloud communications provider, I was skeptical. At first glance, the idea of its services, basically a company that helps people and businesses make phone calls using the internet instead of traditional phone lines, seemed a bit antiquated to me. Maybe too simple. Still, keeping an open mind, if the company’s service can hit both the residential and business markets, "simple" can be great. Even better: profitable....
