Waters Merger Risks Weakening Its Competitive Moat

In early May 2025, I published my last article about Waters Corporation ( WAT ) and called the business still a “Hold” and wrote in the conclusion:

I still don't think we should call Waters Corporation a good investment, as the stock is still not cheap. But it is also not overvalued at this point. In my opinion, we should still rate the stock as a "Hold" but if the stock should decline a little further and the business continues to perform well, Waters Corporation might finally become a "Buy."
