VIG: Dividend Investors Should Be Careful (Rating Downgrade)

Vanguard Dividend Appreciation Index Fund ETF Shares ( VIG ) has started 2026 with a gain of 1.5%, which is ahead of the S&P 500 increase of 1.1%. Since I initiated coverage almost three months ago, explaining why I don't dig VIG , it has gained 2.7%, while SPDR S&P 500 Trust ETF ( SPY ) has gained 0.6%. It's all good, right? No, as over the past year, returning 12.1% it has still performed worse than SPY and also Vanguard S&P 500 ( VOO ) , which have both returned 14.4%....
