Shares of La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB) moved higher on Thursday as the company reported upbeat earnings results for its second quarter and increased its quarterly cash dividend by 10%.
La-Z-Boy posted adjusted earnings of 74 cents per share, beating market estimates of 62 cents per share. The company’s quarterly sales came in at $511.44 million versus estimates of $502.33 million.
La-Z-Boy shares gained 7.5% to $34.08 on Thursday.
