In an attempt to compete with Elon Musk's X (formerly Twitter), Mark Zuckerberg's Threads has launched an edit button even as X charges users money to edit posts.
What Happened: Meta Platforms Inc.’s (NASDAQ:META) announced the two new features: an edit button and voice threads. The edit feature gives users a five-minute time frame to amend any mistakes or typos in their posts, which are subsequently marked with a pencil symbol.
On the other hand, users on X require an X Premium subscription to be able to edit posts.
