Meta Platforms, Inc (NASDAQ: META), following the launch of its Quest 3 headset, has decided to reduce the prices of its older Quest 2 headset by $50 permanently.
The 128GB version's price is now $249, down from $299, while the 256GB version is available for $299, reduced from $349. Initially seen during Black Friday sales, these new prices are now permanent, TechCrunch reports.
In addition to the headset, Meta is lowering the prices of several Quest 2 accessories. The Quest 2 Elite Strap with a battery is now available for $89.99 instead of $119.99.
