Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, NIO Inc. (NYSE:NIO), has commenced deliveries of its ET5 sedan in Europe, four months after its launch in China.
As reported by Electrek, the electric sedan has started reaching customers in four different markets, including Germany. The ET5 was first unveiled in January 2021, boasting a commendable CLTC range of over 1,000 km (620 miles) and potential compatibility with solid-state batteries from WeLion.
Prior to European deliveries, NIO’s first validation prototypes were seen rolling off its assembly lines in China by the end of 2022. After local deliveries in 2023, the company expanded to European markets, including plans for Denmark.
