Hyundai Motor Co (OTC:HYMTF) spinoff Mobinn presented its M3 delivery robot at CES 2024 in Las Vegas with wheels that can seamlessly traverse stairs, bagging a CES Innovation Honoree Award in the robotics category.
What Happened: The robot has an independently developed wheel system capable of overcoming stairs and bumps. Spillage is avoided by keeping the loading box always horizontal even as the vehicle shifts across levels. The robot further employs a LiDAR-based mapping system which allows it to navigate during night hours or adverse weather conditions like rain or snow.
