Airline bookings trends in the U.S. showed some improvement for the week ending on September 19, per data from Bank of America. System sales were down 60.1% vs. the 2019 level, which is noted to be slightly better than the recent trend of down in the low to mid-60% range. BofA analyst Andrew Didora: "Demand in both corporate and leisure channels was also a bit better than the recent trend, showing that the delta variant impact is likely waning. In addition, we expect to see a step up in international trends next week after the US relaxed some travel restrictions, which would help stimulate a recovery in international revenues." The biggest gainers in website visits was Alaska Airlines (NYSE:ALK), up 21% against the 2019 level Looking at international travel following the reopening of U.S. borders in November, BofA forecasts international revenue to be -58% in Q3 vs. 2019's level, -47%
