AAIC - Arlington Asset prices senior notes offering to redeem 2023 notes
Arlington Asset Investment ([[AAIC]] -0.3%) priced a public offering of $33.5M principal amount of 6% senior notes due 2026.The notes were priced at 100% of the principal amount and will mature on August 1, 2026.The company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to buy up to an additional $5M aggregate principal amount of the notes to cover any over-allotments.The offering is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close on July 15, 2021. Arlington expects to use the net proceeds of this offering to redeem all or a portion of its 6.625% senior notes due 2023 and any remaining funds for general corporate purposes.Arlington had announced the redemption for all $23.8M principal amount of outstanding 6.625% senior notes due 2023 on August 6, 2021.The company said the notes will be redeemed at a price equal to 100% of the principal amount of the Senior Notes plus unpaid interest.Source: Press
