- Banco Santander press release ( NYSE: SAN ): Q2 GAAP EPS of €0.16.
- Net interest income of €10.74B (+5.4% Q/Q).
- Total income of €14.3B, up 15.0% Y/Y.
- Return on tangible equity of 14.5% (+80 basis points); and tangible net asset value per share on 30th June at €4.57.
- The efficiency ratio improved by 1.3 percentage points year-on-year to 44.2%, as the bank continued to improve productivity and reduce costs in real terms (-1%).
- The bank’s fully-loaded CET1 capital ratio stood at 12.2%, ahead of the group’s capital target.
