Communications services stocks did well this week - if by "well" we mean "didn't lose as much as stocks in legacy sectors." The stocks fell 1.1% this week as a group, fourth-best of 11 sectors - not faring as well as Information Technology (up 0.2% for the week) but much better than Materials (down 6.2% as a group). And the week's gainers and losers in the sector were more likely to trade on news this week - unless you were a meme stock.
