OCGN - COVID-19 Delta variant cases rise 91% among fully vaccinated in Los Angeles County - CDC
According to the latest update by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), some 25% of COVID-19 infections among Los Angeles County residents occurred in fully vaccinated people from May through July 25. Among fully vaccinated persons on July 25, 55.2% had received the Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) - BioNTech (NASDAQ:BNTX) vaccine, 28.0% received Moderna (NASDAQ:MRNA) jab, and 16.8% had received Johnson & Johnson's (NYSE:JNJ) shot. The new data involved 43,127 reported infections among Los Angeles County residents aged ?16 years. Of them, 10,895, or 25.3%, occurred in fully vaccinated persons; 1,431, or 3.3%, were in partially vaccinated persons, and 30,801, or 71.4%, were in unvaccinated individuals.
