WATT - Energous names acting CEO and CFO

Energous Corporation
Wireless charging solutions provider Energous (NASDAQ:WATT) has made some executive leadership changes. Cesar Johnston, who previously served as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Engineering, will assume the role of acting CEO. Meanwhile, Bill Mannina has been named interim CFO, succeeding current CFO Brian Sereda who plans to leave the company. Mannina has been with the company since 2016, serving in several finance-related roles including VP of finance and controller. Additionally, Kathleen Bayless will join the company's Board of Directors and Audit Committee. Bayless has held a variety of executive leadership positions within several technology companies over the course of her 30+ year career. These changes follow the official retirement of former company President and CEO Stephen R. Rizzone last month.
