CA - EverGen Infrastructure gets $10.5M funding for RNG expansion at PCR facility

EverGen Infrastructure ( TSXV: EVGN:CA ) ( OTCQX:EVGIF ) has secured funding of $10.5 million from Natural Resources Canada’s Clean Fuels Fund, the company said Wednesday.

The funds will be used to support the development of an RNG expansion at the Pacific Coast Renewables (PCR) facility, the company said.

"The capital expansion project at PCR will add anaerobic digestion capabilities to produce biogas, which will then be upgraded to RNG to feed into FortisBC’s gas network under an existing 20-year off-take agreement," EverGen said in a statement.

The expansion is expected to produce about 185,000 GJ of RNG per year.
