UNG - Exelon-led Annova LNG stops to discontinue south Texas export project
Exelon (EXC) subsidiary Annova LNG says it is scrapping plans to develop a 6.5M metric tons/year liquefied natural gas export plant in south Texas, due to slumping prices.Exelon says the decision to discontinue the liquefaction project came after it tried and failed to find a suitable offer to sell its majority stake in the project.Minority owners in Annova LNG included Enbridge (ENB), engineering firm Black & Veatch and construction contractor Kiewit.ETFs: [[UNG]], [[UGAZF]], [[DGAZ]], [[BOIL]], [[FCG]], [[KOLD]], [[UNL]], [[GAZ]], [[GAZB]]NextDecade said recently that it continues to move forward with its planned Rio Grande LNG project near Brownsville.
