FVRR - Fiverr receives bullish initiation from BTIG

BTIG started coverage of Fiverr International ( NYSE: FVRR ) with a Buy rating on Monday given upside in freelancing post-COVID.

The team noted that the stock has slumped amid a global reopening with COVID-driven work from home and freelancing on the decline. However, this pullback is not representative of “substantial improvement in fundamentals” amidst the pandemic.

“We view Fiverr as the purest way to play the attractive online freelancing opportunity with the lowest execution risk,” BTIG wrote on Monday. “We believe shares are at an attractive level and see 45% upside potential to our $50 PT.”

Shares of Fiverr International ( FVRR ) rose over 2% at mid-day before giving up gains in the afternoon session.
