GPRO - GoPro rises another 5% as shares hit three-month high
GoPro (NASDAQ:GPRO) shares gained more ground, Friday, rising more than 5% on top of the previous session's gains that resulted from an upbeat earnings report and rating upgrade from Morgan Stanley analyst Erik Wooding. The sport-camera maker's shares rose to as high as $11.10, and got to levels not seen in three months, as trading progressed on Friday. The day's gains built upon GoPro (GPRO) rising more than 8% on Thursday. Last week, GoPro (GPRO) reported a third-quarter profit, excluding one-time items, of 34 cents a share, on $317 million in revenue, compared to earnings of 20 cents a share, on sales of $281 million in the same period a year ago. Wall Street analysts had expected GoPro (GPRO) to earn 20 cents a share on $292 million in revenue.
