HLBZ - Helbiz expands micro-mobility operations across U.S. markets
- Helbiz ( NASDAQ: HLBZ ) is expanding its micro-mobility operations in the U.S.; Tampa, Florida will join Helbiz’s growing roster of U.S. cities and the company will expand its fleets in Flint, Michigan and Miami Lakes, Florida.
- Helbiz was selected as a new vendor after a competitive process for Tampa's micro-mobility program, replacing existing operators.
- Initially, Helbiz will be permitted to launch 1.5K e-scooters, equipped with sidewalk detection that uses onboard computer vision and AI to make shared scooter rides safer; Helbiz will also offer two different adaptive vehicles.
- The company is permitted to launch ~2K electric vehicles in Florida and Michigan in Q3.
