Gainers An analyst's upgrade boosted shares of Bloom Energy (BE). Shares rose 6% after Raymond James upped its rating on the stock from Outperform to Strong Buy, saying a recent sell-off has created an attractive entry point. SmileDirectClub (SDC) saw strength in midday action after it announced that the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office will give the firm a patent for its SmileBus concept.
