RIDE - Hot Stocks: Cybersecurity stocks rise; RIDE pops; MOV sets high; SLQT plunges; CPB hits new low on inflation worries

Despite Wall Street's overall weakness during the session, cybersecurity stocks found buyers on Thursday. Worries about rising geopolitical tensions and some recent strong earnings results from the sector contributed to the advance. Palo Alto Networks (NYSE:PANW), CrowdStrike (NASDAQ:CRWD) and SentinelOne (NYSE:S) all posted gains on the day. Lordstown Motors (NASDAQ:RIDE) got a boost Thursday from news of a new chief executive. The electric car company is attempting to dig itself out of a particularly deep hole, one that still includes the prospect of a potential bankruptcy. Movado (NYSE:MOV) was another of the day's standout gainers. Shares rallied to a new 52-week high following the release of a strong earnings report. On the other side of the spectrum, SelectQuote (NYSE:SLQT) posted one of the day's biggest percentage losses in the wake of its quarterly update.
