PepsiCo (NASDAQ:PEP) represented a highlight of Tuesday's pre-market trading, rising in the wake of strong quarterly results. Earnings news also provided strength for wine maker Duckhorn Portfolio (NYSE:NAPA). Inotiv (NASDAQ:NOTV) was another notable gainer in pre-market trading. An M&A move inspired a double-digit percentage rise in the company's shares. Looking to some of the morning's standout decliners, Comtech Telecommunications (NASDAQ:CMTL) lost ground on disappointing earnings and a major leadership change. Lordstown Motors (NASDAQ:RIDE) also suffered weakness, dropping on an analyst's downgrade. Gainers Better-than-expected quarterly results gave PepsiCo (PEP) a 1% lift in pre-market trading. Revenue rose nearly 12% to $20.2B. Looking ahead, the company also raised its organic revenue forecast, saying it now expects 8% growth. The Duckhorn Portfolio (NAPA) reported quarterly EPS that quadrupled the amount predicted by analysts. The wine maker also topped projections with its revenue figure, which rose nearly 36% from last year to reach $71M.
