Arrival (NASDAQ:ARVL) also dropped in intraday action, hurt by production delays. Meanwhile, news of an acquisition put pressure on shares of Lemonade (NYSE:LMND). Looking to some of the day's best performers, Five9 (NASDAQ:FIVN) posted a double-digit percentage gain following the release of its Street-beating earnings report. At the same time, GE (NYSE:GE) received a lift from its plan to split into multiple standalone companies. Losers PayPal (PYPL) slumped nearly 12% in midday trading after the company's quarterly earnings included soft guidance for Q4 and the beginning of 2022. The slide came despite a deal with Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) for use of the payment processor's Venmo product on the retailer's website. Worries about future results also put pressure on Arrival (ARVL).
