Jefferies (JEF) and Herman Miller (MLHR) both moved in pre-market trading after the release of earnings news. Cerevel Therapeutics Holdings (CERE) gained before the bell on strong clinical study results. Trial data had the opposite impact for Diamedica (DMAC), which fell following the release of a mixed outcome. United Airlines announced that it has made its largest-ever jet order. This includes a total of 270 new aircraft. The airline's CEO gave some context for the deal in an interview with CNBC. He said the expansion plan equated to a new aircraft every three days from now until 2023. He also noted that business travel remained down 60% compared to pre-COVID levels.
