HYZN - Hyzon Motors plans to enter Taiwan commercial EV market

Hyzon Motors Inc.
Hyzon Motors (HYZN -1.8%) and the MiTAC-Synnex Group, an industrial conglomerate in Taiwan, announce a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly develop hydrogen-powered commercial vehicles and distribution models optimized for the Taiwan market. The two companies intend to establish a joint operating model delivering a product portfolio, service, and logistics operations tailored to the needs of the Taiwan market. The companies are targeting their first commercial shipments in 2022. Additionally, Hyzon will supply two fuel cell electric trucks to MiTAC-Synnex in 2022 and anticipates jointly building substantial business volumes for Hyzon FCEVs in Taiwan. Hyzon is headquartered in New York and currently has operations in Europe, Singapore, Australia and China.
