CA - IAA soars on report that majority of Ritchie Bros. holders to vote to approve deal

- IAA Inc. ( NYSE: IAA ) jumped 7.7% on a report that the majority of Ritchie Bros ( NYSE: RBA ) holders will vote to approve the acquisition.
- The report came from Reuters, which cited preliminary vote data from sources. Ritchie Bros. ( RBA ) fell 5.6%. Ritchie Bros. holder vote is scheduled for Tuesday as is IAA holders vote.
- The news come after influential proxy adviser ISS and Glass Lewis on Monday recommended that Ritchie Bros. ( RBA ) shareholders vote against the company's planned more than $7 billion purchase of IAA. Proxy adviser Egan-Jones recommended that RBA holders vote in favor of the deal.
