CA - Ivanhoe Mines reports Q2 copper production of 103.8k tons at Kamoa-Kakula

• Ivanhoe Mines ( OTCQX:IVPAF ) said Wednesday that its Kamoa-Kakula mine in the Democratic Republic of the Congo produced 103,786 tons of copper in concentrate during the second quarter of 2023.
• The company said Kamoa-Kakula's Q2 production represents an 11% increase from Q1.
• The mine's phase 1 and 2 concentrators are operating at a throughput rate of 9.2 million tons per annum, the company said.
• Kamoa-Kakula milled 2.2 million tons of ore during Q2 at an average grade of 5.2% copper.
• Copper recoveries for the quarter averaged 87.2%.
• Year-to-date production from the mine stands at 197,389 tons of copper in concentrate.
• The 2023 annual production for the mine is maintained at between 390,000 and 430,000 tons of copper in concentrate.
