New Contract Win. Yesterday, Kratos announced it had been awarded an $85.9 million contract from the U.S. Army to support the Army Ground Aerial Target Control System. Kratos will supply software updating, cyber security inspections, and installation of replacement parts, among other tasks. The award enables Kratos to evolve, develop, and apply new technologies to the US command and control systems.Valkyrie Successfully Completes Sixth Flight. Also yesterday, the Air Force Research Lab announced the successful completion of the sixth Valkyrie flight. During the test flight, the Valkyrie successfully opened its payload bay doors and launched a small, unmanned aircraft system. With successful completion of flights, Valkyrie is evolving into a pre-production system with substantial operational flight capability, as opposed to just a proof-of-concept flight demonstrator.And Let's Not Forget About ATMA. While most people focus on Kratos for what its products do in the air, and rightly so, the Company's Autonomous Truck-Mounted Attenuator has been recognized by the American Society of Civil Engineers as an "Infrastructure Gamechanger." The driverless TMA is used during road construction and maintenance, shielding workers and equipment from errant drivers entering the work zone.Market Perform.
