Kratos Defense & Security Solutions ( NASDAQ: KTOS ) said Thursday the company received a $49.6 million contract from the U.S. Navy.

Under the full rate production contract, the company expects procurement of additional 55 aircraft, mission kits, certain flight consumables, and technical data for the U.S. Navy.

The contract work will be primarily conducted in Kratos’ facilities in Sacramento, CA, and Ft. Walton Beach, FL.

Total contract value, if certain options are exercised at the maximum production quantities, is expected to be $227.6 million.
