LMT - Lockheed Martin awarded $7.8B modification contract for 126 F-35 aircraft production and delivery by U.S. government

• Lockheed Martin ( NYSE: LMT ) was awarded $7.8B modification  to a previously awarded advanced acquisition contract.
• This amendment exercises the options for the production and delivery of 126 Lot 17 F-35 aircraft.
• The options include: 81 F-35A aircraft, with 43 for the U.S. Air Force, 8 for the Government of Finland, 7 for the Government of Italy, 6 for the Government of The Netherlands, 6 for the Government of Poland, 4 for the Government of Japan, 4 for the Government of Belgium, and 3 for the Government of Denmark.
• Additionally, 26 F-35B aircraft will be produced and delivered, with 15 for the U.S. Marine Corps, 7 for the Government of the United Kingdom, 2 for the Government of Italy, and 2 for the Government of Japan. Finally, 19 F-35C aircraft will also be produced and delivered, with 13 for the U.S. Navy and 6 for the U.S. Marine Corps.
• Work is expected to be completed by August 2026.
• The Naval Air Systems is the contracting activity.
