LMT - Lockheed Martin wins ~$5B US Contracts for Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System and THAAD Interceptors

- Lockheed Martin ( NYSE: LMT ) secured two major contracts from the US Army.
- The first contract is a $4.79 billion modification deal for Lots 18 and 19 of the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System, while the second contract is a $180.36 million modification deal for the production of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Interceptors and associated one-shot devices to support the US government.
- Under the first contract, Lockheed Martin will be responsible for the development and production of the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System, with work expected to be completed by October 30, 2026. The US Army is the contracting activity for this project.
- Under the second contract, Lockheed Martin will manufacture the THAAD Interceptors and associated one-shot devices, with work expected to be completed by March 1, 2028. These technologies will be crucial in protecting the US from aerial threats, and their production is being supported by the US government.
