LCID - Lordstown ChargePoint and Nikola lead big breakout in EV stocks
The electric vehicle sector is blazing higher after Tesla (TSLA +1.5%) impresses with its China deliveries tally for September and incrementally improved sentiment on the infrastructure legislation battle being worked out. Freyr Battery (FREY +3.1%) is leading the sector after announcing a joint venture with Koch Strategic Platforms. Lordstown Motors (NASDAQ:RIDE) +8.81% is also a big gainer as it bounces off its all-time low and TuSimple (NASDAQ:TSP) +7.85% is not far behind after a positive note from Morgan Stanley. Other notable gainers include Beam Global (BEEM +6.1%), Vicinity Motor Corp. (VEV +7.0%), Nikola (NKLA +6.0%), Blink Charging (BLNK +5.9%), QuantumScape (QS +4.4%), ChargePoint Holdings (CHPT +4.0%), Ayro (AYRO +3.3%), Workhorse Group (WKHS +4.2%), Canoo (GOEV +4.7%), Arrival (ARVL +3.2%), Fisker (FSR +3.0%), Lucid Group (LCID +2.4%) and Romeo Power (RMO +2.5%).
