CA - Lundin Mining says operations at Chile mine stay suspended after sinkhole
Lundin Mining ( OTCPK:LUNMF ) -2.6% in Friday trading after saying its Minera Ojos del Salado mining operation in Chile remains suspended while it investigates a sinkhole near the Alcaparrosa mine.
The miner said it is continuing to work with Chile's National Service of Geology and Mining to collect geophysical and geotechnical data, and it is willing to collaborate with investigative proceedings initiated by environmental regulator Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente.
Lundin Mining ( OTCPK:LUNMF ) said its Alcaparrosa mine operations remain suspended, and the status of the sinkhole has not changed materially since its detection on July 30.
Lundin Mining ( OTCPK:LUNMF ) recently reported Q2 adjusted earnings of C$0.05/share on revenues of C$590M .
