MMAT - Meta Materials plunges after unveiling proposed public offering

- Meta Materials ( NASDAQ: MMAT ) -13.7% post-market Thursday after saying it plans to offer an unspecified amount of common shares and warrants in a public offering , with an underwriters option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares and/or warrants.
- The company said it plans to use the proceeds toward working capital and general corporate purposes, including ongoing development of existing and future products, such as its advanced materials NPORE and NCORE for Li-ion battery applications.
