WFC - Mr. Cooper Group names Kurt Johnson CFO Christine Paxton risk chief

• Mr. Cooper Group ( NASDAQ: COOP ) on Monday named Kurt Johnson, its current chief risk and compliance officer, to the role of chief financial officer.
• In turn, Christine Paxton will become the company's new chief risk and compliance officer. She returns to the company from Wells Fargo ( WFC ), where she most recently served as senior vice president of Control Management, responsible for managing risk for the home lending and servicing business. Before that, she served as senior vice president of Enterprise Risk at Mr. Cooper Group ( COOP ).
• As Johnson takes on the CFO role, Jaime Gow will transition from CFO to a strategic adviser role through October. Johnson joined Mr. Cooper ( COOP ) in 2015 and has 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry.
