COM - Natural Gas: A Slightly Tighter Balance For The Next Two Weeks
- This Thursday, I expect the EIA to report 2,859 bcf of working gas in storage for the week ending Aug. 20.
- I anticipate seeing a build of 37 bcf, 7 bcf smaller vs. the five-year average for this time of the year.
- The annual storage deficit currently is projected to peak in mid-September and is then projected to moderate relatively fast.
- The latest numerical weather prediction models agree that TTDs should stay mostly above the norm.
- During the next two weeks, the total balance should be slightly tighter vs. a year ago at around -0.95 bcf/d y-o-y.
