LMT - Nine soldiers killed as two Black Hawks collide in Kentucky

Nine soldiers were killed when two helicopters collided during training exercises near the border of Kentucky and Tennessee on Wednesday night, the U.S. Army said Thursday.
The HH-60 Black Hawk assault helicopters crashed into each other at about 10 p.m. in Trigg County, Kentucky, an Army spokesperson said in a statement. The crash is under investigation.
The helicopters were from the 101st Airborne Division, which is based at Fort Campbell. The group is the Army’s sole air-assault division.
Black Hawk helicopters are made by Sikorsky Aircraft, a unit of defense contractor Lockheed Martin ( NYSE: LMT ).
