AYRWF - NY approves first cannabis adult-use conditional processor licenses
- The New York State Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) has approved the first 15 cannabis adult-use conditional processor licenses .
- The approvals were from existing hemp businesses, Marijuana Moment reported.
- The processors take raw marijuana and extract cannabinoids and other components from the plant.
- OCM also said that an additional 19 adult-use cannabis cultivation licenses have been approved. This brings the number of farms in New York permitted to grow cannabis to 242.

- OCM recently said it would soon begin accepting applications for operating adult-use cannabis dispensaries, but only from those who have been impacted by a marijuana offense .
