• Allianz, Deutsche Telekom, Intel and Cisco are four stocks where investors that bought at the Dotcom Bubble peak never broke even.
• Microsoft and Amazon are two examples where it worked out, but it still took 10 years and 16 years respectively for investors to break even.
• These were all solid companies, that continued to perform quite well, but were so extremely overvalued that it was hard for investors to make money.
• And due to survivorship bias the picture is distorted as these are actually just the companies, that survived.
