Schwazze (OTCQX:SHWZ) has agreed to acquire MCG ("Emerald Fields") as part of its retail expansion plan in Colorado. The acquisition is expected to close in the next 75 days. Total consideration for the transaction will be $29M and will be paid as 60% cash and 40% Schwazze common stock upon closing. Emerald Fields owns and operates two retail cannabis dispensaries, located in Manitou Springs and Glendale, Colorado. The deal is part of Schwazze's Colorado expansion strategy, bringing the total number of dispensaries including announced acquisitions to 22.
