SLDP - Solid Power names Van Scoter as new President and CEO

Solid Power ( NASDAQ: SLDP ) said Wednesday it appointed John Van Scoter as its new President and CEO effective June 14, succeeding interim CEO Dave Jansen, who will continue to serve as Chairman.

Van Scoter held multiple leadership positions over a nearly 30-year career with Texas Instruments, and was CEO, President and Chairman of solar power company eSolar.

Most recently, Van Scoter was VP at SRI International, where he was responsible for transitioning artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced imaging technologies to the international marketplace.
