SLM - Solis Minerals hits coarse spodumene at Jaguar

SolisMinerals Ltd (ASX:SLM, TSX-V:SLMN, OTCQB:SLMFF) executive directorMatt Boyes tells Proactive that maiden drilling at the Jaguar Projectin Brazil has intersected shallow-dipping coarse spodumene-richpegmatites in two initial diamond holes. He says a second rig is nowbeing tendered to commence an additional 5,000 metre program.

Boyes called theearly-stage findings “a positive result” for the team atJaguar.

“Confirmation of a lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT)-bearingsystem that continues at depth below the artisanal workings is highlyencouraging and we look forward to the arrival of a second drillrig,” he noted.

“As we extend our mapping and geochemical sampling programs,we are finding evidence of a potential stacked pegmatite system.

“We are encouraged byour early results at the Jaguar project and we look forward toupdating the market as we deliver results from this maiden drillprogram.”

Solis is installingcore-cutting facilities on-site and intends to start processing theexisting core within the next week.
