NGA - SPAC Northern Genesis gains as Lion Electric announces new battery plant

SPAC Northern Genesis Acquisition (NGA), which is taking electric truck and bus maker Lion Electric public, rose 15% at least partly after Lion announced the construction of a new battery manufacturing plant in Quebec. The factory is planned to begin operations in early 2023 and will produce battery packs and modules made from Lithium-ion cells. Construction is projected to break ground over the next few months in a location that will be confirmed in the near future.Recall Feb. 25, SPAC Northern Genesis gains on LA School District order for Lion Electric buses.
