SPT - Sprout Social acquires Repustate

• Sprout Social ( NASDAQ: SPT ) said on Thursday it would acquire sentiment analysis and natural language processing firm Repustate.
• The acquisition will help Sprout increase automation of social listening, messaging and customer care capabilities with sentiment analysis, natural language processing ( NLP ) and artificial-intelligence ( AI ), it said.
• Repustate, which was founded in 2010, uses AI-powered semantic technology to model sentiment analysis, text analytics and enterprise search solutions. It reads and analyzes text and video content, and transforms data through natural language processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
• Sprout expect the investments to provide upside to its medium term growth goals beginning 2024.
