CA - Talon Metals strikes high-grade nickel mineralization at Tamarack project

Talon Metals ( OTCPK:TLOFF ) +4% in Thursday's trading after saying it intercepted new high-grade nickel-copper mineralization just outside the Tamarack mine project in Minnesota, confirming a " brand new "system" of high-grade nickel-copper mineralization " within the Tamarack complex.

"We've moved nearly two miles outside of the company's current nickel-copper resource area and successfully intercepted high-grade nickel-copper in a different intrusion (new system) as compared to the current resource area," Talon Metals' ( OTCPK:TLOFF ) Chief Exploration Officer Brian Goldner said, adding the preliminary results "provide definitive evidence that the Tamarack Intrusive Complex has district-scale potential."

Tesla secured a key source of nickel for its battery factories in Texas and Nevada when it signed its first U.S. nickel supply deal with Talon a year ago .
