CA - TMX Group will name Luc Bertrand to succeed Charles Winograd as chair

- TMX Group ( OTCPK:TMXXF ) ( TSX: X:CA ), which owns the Toronto Stock Exchange, said Friday it plans to name Luc Bertrand as chair upon his election as an independent director at the company's annual and special meeting on May 2, 2023.
- He'll succeed Charles Winograd, who will retire from he board at that time, after more than 10 years as chair.
- Bertrand has been a TMX Group ( X:CA ) board member since May 2011. He hase served as president and cEO of Montréal Exchange from 2000 to 2009, as deputy CEO of TMX Group (2008-2009), and CEO of Maple Acquisition Group (2011-2012). He is currently chairman of 5NPlus Inc. and has served as chair of CH Group Inc./Montréal Canadiens.
- Bertrand will be resigning as vice chairman of National Bank, a position he has held since 2011.
- TMX Group ( OTCPK:TMXXF ) named John McKenzie CEO in August 2020.
