USAU - U.S. Gold sees CK Gold copper gold concentrate as 'readily marketable'

U.S. Gold ( NASDAQ: USAU ) +4% in Wednesday's trading after saying metallurgical testing at its CK Gold Project in Wyoming has produced a gold and copper concentrate " desirable to smelter refinery operators due to the quality of its gold and copper content and absence of some of the common penalty elements."

Based on extensive metallurgical test work, U.S. Gold ( USAU ) said the sulfide concentrate "will be a clean product that will be in demand for its high gold content and lack of deleterious metals," adding its pre-feasibility survey showed the average metal content will contain 19% copper, 1.5 oz/ton of gold and 1.7 oz/ton of silver.

The nominal throughput rate for the project's mineral processing facility is estimated at 20K tons/day with 170 tons/day of concentrated product projected to be generated for sale to North American or overseas customers, the company said.

U.S. Gold ( USAU ) looks attractive from a valuation standpoint, and CK Gold's final feasibility study will soon be released and better define key project parameters, Aitezaz Khan writes in an analysis posted recently on Seeking Alpha .
