VSAT - UK regulators start review of Viasat-Inmarsat deal
- UK regulators are starting a review of Viasat's ( NASDAQ: VSAT ) deal to acquire Inmarsat.
- The Competition and Markets Authority has opened its probe with a three-week period for invitation to comment.
- Viasat ( VSAT ) had agreed to purchase Inmarsat in a transaction valued at $7.3 billion in November .
- On Sunday, UK operator OneWeb was reported to be near a deal to combine with Eutelsat ( OTCPK:EUTLF ).
